At midnight the contractions started.

At around 7 am Alex got into the birthing tub Patrick had set up in the living room.

At 9:16 am, Kirian was born.

At around 11 am we were having toast with nutella and tea.

At around 4 pm, we were in our bed, just the three of us. And we dozed into blissful and exhausted slumber.

At around 6 pm, Oma Ingrid made homemade macaroni + cheese for dinner. It was the best mac + cheese we've ever had.
